After getting
accolades for his music in the critically acclaimed Bala’s Paradesi, GV
Prakash, fondly called GV among friends hogged the limelight when his anthem
for Sun Risers team became a rage. And now the icing on the cake was when he
flew to Mumbai and rubbed shoulders with the hot and happening people at the first edition of MTV
Video Music Awards India (VMAI) in Mumbai.
While the list of
B-Town musicians giving a tough competition to each other, GV won the best
regional music video award for Uyrin Uyire from UTV Motion Pictures produced
Thaandavam for the Best Regional Music
Video recently. Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the film has music by composed
by GV himself and lyrics by NA
Muthukumar. Singers Vandhana and Sathya Prakash have sung the song. GV
expressed his hearty thankfulness and gratitude to everyone who were part of it
over a social networking site. He also added that so far in his career, the
whole album of the movie will always remain close to heart.
